In consideration of the COVID-19 pandemic, on Monday 16 March we announced our decision to postpone our conference The Point 2020, which was scheduled for 23-24 June 2020.
The new dates we’ve secured at Cordis hotel in Auckland are Monday 16 and Tuesday 17 November 2020.
If you have already purchased a ticket to The Point 2020, it is now valid for these dates. If you can no longer attend, you’ll be able to transfer your ticket to someone else, or we can give you a full refund.
At this point, we intend to go ahead with the conference on these new dates in November. However, we also realise that the COVID-19 situation is constantly evolving. None of us know what impact our lockdown and the measures taken by other countries around the world will have over the coming months. We’ll continue to monitor advice from officials and forecasts from experts, then we'll reassess our decision again at the end of May against any new information. As has always been the case, the health and safety of everyone is our top consideration.
In the meantime, we’re working with our speakers to reschedule. We’re pleased to have the majority of our speakers reconfirmed for the new dates, including our international keynote speakers Brett King, David Birch, Bianca Lopes and Tom Goodwin.
Thank you again to our speakers, sponsors and event partners, for their flexibility, understanding and continued support.
Our thoughts are with all the communities around the world as we deal with the implications and effects of this pandemic.
