15 July 2020
Over the past few months we’ve been re-assessing whether it’s still possible to go ahead with our conference on the new dates of 16-17 November 2020 in light of COVID-19.
Although New Zealand has moved to Alert Level 1, cases of COVID-19 are continuing to rise globally and the impact of the pandemic on New Zealand in the coming months is still unknown. Given the uncertainty over whether we’ll be able to deliver a full conference experience, even in November, we have made the decision to not go ahead with our 2020 conference and have now cancelled The Point 2020.
Instead, we’re now working on an online event series that will focus on the impact of COVID-19 on the payments industry, and hope to bring the industry this new event in the coming months. We’re also hoping to include in-person networking opportunities should it remain possible and safe for us to get together.
Everyone who had bought a ticket to The Point 2020 has been contacted and will receive a full refund.
We’d like to thank all our The Point 2020 registered delegates, speakers and sponsors for their patience, support and understanding during this unprecedented time.
If you’d like to be kept informed about the new event we’re developing, you can sign up to our mailing list.
