Brett King, Futurist, Author and Founder, Moven

Renowned futurist, bestselling author, and media personality, Brett has spoken in over 50 countries including at TED conferences, and delivered opening keynotes for Wired, Singularity University, The Economist, CES, SIBOS and more. He advised the Obama administration on fintech policy and the future of banking and advises regulators and bank CEOs around the world on technology transformation. He is the CEO and Founder of successful mobile banking startup Moven. Brett hosts the world's first and #1 ranked radio show on fintech called ‘Breaking Banks’. He was voted American Banker's Innovator of the Year in 2012, named the world's #1 Financial Services Influencer by The Financial Brand and nominated by Bank Innovation as one of the top 10 "coolest brands in banking". In 2015, he was shortlisted for the Advance Global Australian Awards. His latest book, Bank 4.0, was released in October 2018 and is an international bestseller, remaining in the ‘top 10’ on Amazon for over a year.

Shaun Drylie, Group Chief Executive, SBS Bank

Shaun is in his dream job as Group CEO of SBS, a 151-year-old 100 percent customer-owned (a Mutual) New Zealand bank. Passionate about people and community, Shaun took up the role in 2016 after a 30-year career in banking. Starting out as a 16-year-old bank teller in Hokitika, Shaun’s journey has included managing branches, running regions and other diverse management roles including leading teams of 1500 people, setting strategy and managing a $70 billion balance sheet. Prior to joining SBS, he spent two years in Vietnam leading the transformation of a local Vietnamese bank. Today, Shaun is responsible for the performance of SBS Bank along with its three subsidiary businesses; Finance Now Ltd, Funds Administration New Zealand Ltd (FANZ) and Southsure Assurance Ltd. Based in Invercargill, he is an active member on the Southland Chamber of Commerce Board and Chairs the Southland Housing Action Forum. Shaun previously also served on the Payments NZ Board.

Steve Wiggins

Steve Wiggins, Chief Executive, Payments NZ

As Chief Executive of Payments NZ and the newly launched Payments NZ API Centre, Steve is responsible for ensuring the New Zealand payments industry remains innovative, progressive, interoperable and self-governing. He came to the role with extensive experience in senior executive roles through a career spanning more than three decades in industries as diverse as finance, energy, and consultancy services. Prior to joining Payments NZ in January 2014, Steve served as General Manager Marketing, Sales and Customer Services with funds management company Gareth Morgan Investments. From GM and other leadership roles to founding and running a number of businesses, Steve is experienced in all aspects of business management, marketing and sales, and technology development and transfer. He has also had direct senior management experience in a leading payments business responsible for the processing of $3b worth of value per year. Steve holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Administration (BCA) from Victoria University of Wellington.
