The Hub is an industry networking event we run periodically throughout the year where we discuss topical issues and learn about emerging payments trends. Our next event will be held in Wellington and Auckland in October.
The Hub October 2018
At this thought-provoking breakfast session you'll hear from Ian Gausden of Vocalink, a Mastercard Company, who is joining us off the back of the SIBOS conference in Sydney. You’ll also get an update about what we’ve been working on and upcoming work from our Chief Executive, Steve Wiggins.
Real-time in the real world
Real-time user experiences are at the heart of a rapidly evolving global payments landscape. In payments, real-time solutions have been implemented in countries all around the world. Major real-time payments solutions in Australia, China, Europe, India, UK and US have the potential to reach over half of the global population.
More countries are working towards upgrading to real-time payments capabilities to meet the evolving needs of a digital economy. Ian Gausden will offer some unique insights into how global markets are adopting and making the best use of real-time technology, including compelling use-cases from around the world.
Real-time capabilities are acting as a springboard for innovation, which enables new innovations to the market that are agile and responsive to user demands. Many financial institutions are looking to shift their product and service mindset towards immediate delivery, both of payments and other related offerings to stay competitive, maintain relevance and enhance customer experiences.
