Keynote: TokenAIsation

Open data frameworks, AI economics, and the development of new tokenisation rails have radically increased the certainty and the flexibility of many transactions. But with new tools for transmitting value come new challenges. The risk of exploits is rapidly rising, as the constant stream of infinite mint attacks on crypto projects demonstrates. And the new trend of bolting artificial intelligence onto tokenisation frameworks — so-called LLM/DAOs — promises to upend how we think about markets. When the speed of tokenisation runs into the sometimes dangerous unpredictability of artificial intelligence trained in emerging information architectures, new approaches are necessary to demonstrate leadership in the face of rapid technological change.

  • Joshua Fairfield - Technology law expert, legal scholar, and Professor of Law at Washington & Lee University
