Two months to go until sunset date for PCI 4.x EFTPOS devices

Payments NZ, the governing body for payment systems in Aotearoa New Zealand, is reminding the industry that EFTPOS devices using the PCI 4.x security standard must be replaced by 30 April 2026 – two months away.

Reserve Bank open letter on proposal to designate the High Value Clearing System
